> This building will replace the current buildings that headquarter the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. In exchange for the air rights to the property and a considerable amount of cash, the Episcopal Diocese will own and occupy the lower floors of the building. In essence, the Diocese will get a new building, and the developer will be allowed to erect the condo and hotel tower on top.
> The Canyon Ranch Hotel is expected to be the anchor hotel when this building opens.

I like it because it is so different from Chicago's mostly right angle character, but that's also why I question if it can find its place in Chicago.

Nice, but it should have been taller. Maybe like 90-100 floors instead of a boring 65!

I love the desing of this building...I love the sleekness and the opening in the center top!! Just wish it could have been a little taller perhaps at 900ft or so....I wonder what the rendering looks like at night!!

This will be Chicago's first all- circular tower with a great design and shape, it will be not only a great addition, but will improve the near north skyline within downtown.

I like the building. However, the existing low modern structure and plaza with the church seen from the plaza, create a pleasant human-scalled place. Its ideal for summer noon concerts or a respite from what is turning into a canyon. There are many other vacant lots that need developement. This site does not.

I live in the building at the left of your rendering and I think 71 East Huron will be a great addition to the architecture in the Cathedral District area.It will be the first hi-rise in the area with a rounded/oval shape and add a bit of architectural imagination. All the latest hi-rises have been boring. Can't wait for it to be finished, and will probably buy there if I decide to saty in Chicago.
