  I liked this building when it was first built in 2000. The curve makes a great addition to Kinzie Street and Dearborn Street. I remember when I photographed it in 2005 by the Kinzie Street Bridge near Kingsbury Street. It is still visible from that street today, with more taller skyscrapers surrounding it now such as Trump Tower Chicago, 353 North Clark, and the Marriott Courtyard River North. The Marriott maybe in the way by a little bit, but nothing can block such a great curve on the building. In 2006, a new book on Chicago Architecture & Design came out and published by AND Guides. In the book it said the building's color is of Blue-Green Glass with a Yellow concrete facade to seperate the glass, except on the corner, which turned out to be a great addition to the downtown cityscape, and Kinzie Street. It's original name was called Dearborn Plaza, because it had a plaza on Dearborn Street north of the river. Dearborn Center was built in 2003 8 blocks south of this building. It was also called Dearborn Plaza because it was the 1st building with a plaza on Deraborn Street to be built north of the river.
