This is one of the largest public museums in the United States, and is considered one of the best natural history museums in the world. The star attraction is "Sue," a dinosaur skeleton that occupies one end of the great hall. The museum also has more than 20,000,000 other items, though not all are on display simultaneously.

  An impressive edifice, made all the more impressive in juxtaposition to the more contemporary structures. We need to house our history in a historical building that awakens our recollection of past architectural triumphs.
