Your Thoughts

There are four comments.

I think this building is saved by the arches and glass at its summit and by the optical illusion of the top 2/3rds almost floating above the bottom 1/3. Without those interesting features it would be just another beige block of a building.

Gosh, I wish I could give it 2.5. I understand where Darrett is coming from. The police station in my town (Worcester, MA) is gastly, as is the Government Center Bldg. in downtown Boston. This building at least has some charm. It is indicative of the time in which it was constructed, which gives it a retro nostalgia. I like the way it looks lit up at night. I also like the post modern shout-out to Meis.

This building is just another old outdated structure. It is too wide, the bricks have no style, the window designs look stupid, and it has an unattractive look to it. I think Peoria should have better looking more updated designs to their towers. Buildings that look too bad and old fashioned on a citys skyline can make your city look stupid like its saying we dont like attractiveness here. Nice looking highrises to your skyline and around your city can motivate developers to uplift the look of your town and bring better businesses to it. Ugly cheap looking structures can get your city overlooked and people will say they don't have any style. Take it from me.

I like this building in Peoria, reminds me of some Tampa Architecture.
