There is one comment.

Having lived outside Chicago all my life I really never paid much attention to the Architecture of our buildings -until- I read the book "Devil in the White City". I learned so much about our city and the great architects we had in it that I started to actively seek out the building they had created. The Rookery is one of my all time favorites. Now I spend as much time as possible looking for the fine examples of architecture in our city and have even visited Graceland cemetery on the North side to see their graves there. We have such a fabulous historic wealth of wonderful buildings in Chicago.
