There are two comments.

I was a student at Quigley North from 1973 to 1977. My older brother was Class of 1973 and younger brotheer Class of 1980. The Class of 1977 was able to hold there 30th Reunion at the school and Chapel in 2007; the last class to do so before the school was oficially closed. Three of my classmates celebrated that Mass. It looks like the Archdiosece of Chicago has poured a lot of money into this building since then. Good for the old "girl." I hope that they fixed the broken windows in the top section and removed the pigeons nesting in the attic.

I attended high school here from1958-62, and in 1969 was married in the chapel, which includes a lovely example of rose window architecture similar to that seen at San Chapelle in Paris. (See fifth and seventh photos on the left.) The Center is located a block west of the famous Chicago Water Tower on Michigan Avenue, and although entry to the Center itself is restricted, it's certainly worth a quick walk around if ever you happen to be visiting in the neighborhood. Thanks.
