A nice addition to the Chicago skyline. Though it's not the tallest buildings in the city, the twin tower design is situated very close to the water, giving it visual prominence. The blue glass presents a unifying path between the blue-green water of Lake Michigan and the sometimes impossibly blue skies over the city.

Quick Facts
Notes
  • In the 1990's there was a plan to build a 74-story apartment tower with 595 residences at this location. It was never built.
Controversy
  • This project was loudly opposed by local groups because of the shadow it casts over a nearby beach.

This development breaks the mold of its condo counterparts. A very nice addition to residential living in Chicago. Simply elegant.

The building's color scheme goes well with the beach front. It's nice to see some of the city's best buildings popping up in Streeterville.

I like the sleek modern design of these skyscrapers and think they will be a welcome addition to the Chicago skyline.
