Your Rating:
Occupying one of the last available plots of land on the south bank of the Chicago River, The Regatta takes advantage of its location by offering its residents the best possible views. North views look across the river into the Streeterville and Near North Side cityscape. Views to the east are augmented by curving windows that provide panoramic views of Navy Pier and Lake Michigan. However, much as The Regatta's short-spacing ruined many views for people in The Shoreham and The Lancaster, The Regatta will also sacrifice its prime position. The master plan for the Lakeshore East development includes more residential towers to the east of The Regatta, obstructing its best views. Still, the views to the north are likely to remain unobscured as there isn't room for any more major developments between The Regatta and the Chicago River.
