  • "It's sheer seamless beauty. Few buildings are so attractive from every angle."

    --Trish VanderBeke, architect and resident

  • "The curved form is as elegant as it is functional, providing unobstructed views of the city, shoreline, and lake. Its singular design and construction honors Chicago's rich architectural history as well as taking its place among the best of the newest high-rise city structures."

    --Robert Blaich, architect and resident

  • "L.P.T. brok the box with authority and conviction and promise not seen before. It was no longer necessary to have square corners; the corner gave way to the curve, but within a disciplined context, offering new possibilities with grace."

    --Deever Rockwell, architect and resident

Simply stunning. One of the world's most beautiful buildings. It works from every single angle, and there ain't many buildings with which you can say that.

I like how you can see the great looking curve on this building from Navy Pier, that's great for the shape and design. It must of been a big fight when it was proposed in the 60s, when Chicago said no tall buildings built east of Lake Shore Drive. This one though, looks great.
