The only traditional, almost expected element in Millennium Park is this Millennium Monument. A colonnade made up of doric columns, it is a link to the city's past. A similar structure was erected on this corner in 1917. It was torn down in 1953.

Quick Facts
Notes
The Monument rests in Wrigley Square, named for the William Wrigley Junior Company Foundation, which donated $5,000,000.00 toward the construction of Millennium Park.
